Why, for God's sake, WHY
Do people make problems out of non-problems?
Are we bored? Lonely? Wanting to make ourselves feel better by over exaggerating a situation and then judging it?
I suppose the answer is, yes. Yes that is why we do it, or something to that effect is the reason anyway.
Saying good-bye after decades of denial. Saying good-bye to my mother who is alive and well and lives 20 minutes away. Saying good-bye to my mother who slowly cut me out of her life because of fear, convenience, selfishness and other reasons I have tried to come up with. Let me take you on a journey of healing...actually, this is just crap I want to talk about.

An update? Subtitle: Does it really matter what the title is?
So ANYWAY, for all my fans anxiously waiting a new post, HERE IT IS!!
Update: I turned 40, should I change the name of this blog? I'm not going to write a big long reflective observation about the day, the number, or anything else. I'm just not.
Another Update: My life is ridiculously good. For any and all of you who struggle in life, I really don't know what to say except I don't believe I am lucky, or blessed, or that I got here on my own hard work and gumption. I just have a good life, free from hunger, physical danger, sickness, poverty, abuse of any sort, hazardous living environment, or social status related discrimination. In fact, when i reflect on Maslow's hierarchy of needs, I can pretty much check them all off as being met. And that is something.
